TAPIO WIRKKALA

Tapio Wirkkala (1915 - 1985) was a Finnish designer and sculptor. Wirkkala is considered to be the leading figure in the Finnish contemporary art industry. The post-war golden age of the Finnish art industry until the 1960s has been called the “Wirkkala period”. He was internationl designer and left lof of art behind him.
